ENOP51465 08A11 EMENTA PROJETOS DE EQUIPAMENTOS E INFRAESTRUTURA URBANA - Carlos A. Hern

Summary: Discussion about requalification of territories through the design and development of infrastructure and equipment projects capable of structuring the urban space.

Objectives: Conceptual Objectives: Definition of the urban architectural project compatible with the structuring of temporal scenarios in degraded urban areas of port areas, having as a case study the port city of Santos and cases in Latin America. The search for an answer that comes from indicators generated by the various agents that promote contemporary demands, giving rise to flexible programs that appropriate current infrastructures to generate pleasant urban areas. Establishment of relationships between the scales of urban design and architectural pieces tested as economic engines of transformation in series, always seeking the desirable dialogue between hinterland, city and waters;  Procedural Objectives and Skills: The ability to "simultaneous treatment of the design process at multiple scales allowing the integration of elements previously considered "multi and extradisciplinary", such as infrastructure, public space, programmatic mix, the dissection of the territory as the production stream of territorial indicators, allowing project scenarios that are temporarily placed for the reinvention of port areas through their infrastructure”; Attitudinal Objectives and Values: “The city's production involves operators of different types and interests. The urban project aimed at port areas, structured by the understanding of agents operating in the territory, promoted by different public-private spheres, corporate presence and social agents as interlocutors”.
